Emergency and Urgent Care

Do you provide urgent veterinary care?

Yes. We provide Urgent Veterinary Care for pets that require immediate veterinary care during regular hours. If your pet is experiencing sudden illness, injury, pain, changes in behavior, or another concerning symptom, please contact us at 661-248-7387 so we can advise you on next steps.

If your pet requires emergency services outside our available hours, we recommend contacting an appropriate emergency veterinary facility for immediate care.

Services and Medical Care

Do you offer fear-free veterinary care?

Yes. We offer Fear-Free Veterinary Care to help reduce stress, anxiety, and fear during veterinary visits. Our team uses gentle handling techniques and individualized approaches to help create a more comfortable experience for pets.

By focusing on your pet’s emotional and physical comfort, we can provide better medical care while helping pets develop more positive associations with veterinary visits.

What is Fartbusters™, and can it help my dog with excessive gas?

Fartbusters™ is a specialized veterinary service at Mountain Aire Veterinary Hospital designed to help dogs experiencing excessive gas and digestive concerns.

Our team evaluates each dog individually and may use examinations, diagnostics, nutrition recommendations, supplements, and medications when authorized and reviewed by a veterinarian to help identify and address contributing factors.

If your dog experiences frequent gas, digestive discomfort, or changes in gastrointestinal health, we can help evaluate your pet and create a personalized plan designed to support digestive wellness.

What are Laser Therapy and Phovia Light Therapy?

Laser Therapy and Phovia Light Therapy are non-invasive treatment options that may help support comfort, healing, and overall wellness for pets with certain medical conditions.

Laser therapy uses targeted light energy to support the body’s natural healing processes and may help with concerns related to inflammation, discomfort, mobility, and recovery. Phovia Light Therapy uses fluorescent light energy to stimulate natural healing responses and may be recommended for certain skin conditions, wounds, and other dermatological concerns.

Treatment options are always offered on an individual basis. Our veterinarians will evaluate your pet’s health, condition, and individual needs to determine whether Laser Therapy, Phovia Light Therapy, or another treatment approach may be beneficial as part of a personalized care plan.

Do you provide spay and neuter services?

Yes. We provide spay and neuter procedures for dogs and cats as part of our comprehensive veterinary care services.

Before surgery, we perform a thorough evaluation and discuss the procedure, preparation, recovery process, and recommended aftercare. Our team is available to answer questions and help you understand what to expect before and after your pet’s procedure.
